Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and agency information. This data is stored securely in our database and used to provide our service.

CV / Resume Data

When you upload a CV for formatting, we process the document to extract structured data. Candidate CVs are processed in real-time and are not stored after formatting is complete. We do not retain copies of uploaded documents or extracted data beyond the active formatting session.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, features used, formatting volume) to improve our service. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual candidates.

Payment Data

Payment processing is handled by DodoPayments. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. We only store your subscription status and billing history references.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve our CV formatting service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails (account, billing, team invitations)
• To monitor and improve service performance

We do not sell your data. We do not use candidate CV data for AI training.

4. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.

5. Data Retention

• Candidate CVs: Not retained. Processed and discarded immediately.
• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon request.
• Usage data: Retained in aggregated form for up to 24 months.
• Billing data: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years).

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
